Milagres College organized Freshers’ Day for the first-year students on 25th August 2025 in the Roof
Top Auditorium. The programme was graced by the presence of Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Principal, Mrs.
Chethana, IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Samitha, Cultural Coordinator, along with the Student Council
President Ms. Prekshika and Secretary Mr. Rohan D’Souza, who were present on the dais.
The formal programme began with a warm welcome by Ms. Sharal, Vice President of the Student
Council. In his presidential message, Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao inspired the students by speaking on the
importance of leadership and time management in academic and personal growth. The proceedings of
the formal stage programme were compered by Mr. Clevan. The formal session concluded with a vote of
thanks delivered by Ms. Jayarashmi.
Following the formal programme, students enthusiastically took part in spot games and the much-
awaited Mr. and Mrs. Milagres contest, which added fun and excitement to the day. The cultural
segment witnessed energetic dance and song performances by the students, showcasing their talent and
creativity.
The programme ended on a joyful note with a lively DJ session, which brought together students in a
spirit of celebration, friendship, and unity. The Freshers’ Day truly created a memorable beginning for
the new batch, fostering bonding and a sense of belonging among the first-year students.
