The Department of Hospitality Science, Milagres College, Mangaluru, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organised a Guest Lecture on “Hospitality Industry Careers” on 2 September 2024 at 10.00 AM. The programme was organised to provide students with industry-oriented exposure and to create awareness about career opportunities and professional growth in the hospitality sector.
The guest lecture was delivered by Mr Akhil E T, Corporate Regional Trainer, Lulu Group International, Saudi Arabia – Eastern Province. His professional experience in the hospitality and corporate training sector provided students with an opportunity to gain insights from an industry professional.
The programme was organised as an industry-academia interaction, enabling students to gain exposure to the professional hospitality environment. The session focused on the theme “Hospitality Industry Careers”, with emphasis on the relevance of professional competencies and career opportunities available within the hospitality industry.
