The Department of Food Nutrition and Dietetics of Milagres College, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a outreach on National Nutrition Week on 04 September 2025 in Zilla Panchayat High School at 02:00 PM. The program aimed at To create awareness among school children about balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, and hygiene during National Nutrition Week. The chief guest of the event was Ms. Maya, Headmistress.
A nutrition awareness programme was conducted at Zilla Panchayat Government High School, Attavara during National Nutrition Week, which included interactive food-related games, a demonstration of the 24-hour dietary recall method through student activities, and concluded with the distribution of bananas to promote healthy snacking.
A total of 13 students actively participated in this outreach. Ms.Shravani extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Ms. Divyashree efficiently compered the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sandhya Ishwari Naik, acknowledging the contributions of all involved.
