The Eco and Life Science Association of Milagres College, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a
Caption Writing Competition on 15 April 2026 in Room 301 at 2:50 PM. The competition aimed to encourage
students to express their creativity and awareness through effective and meaningful captions on themes related to
environmental conservation, recycling, and sustainable practices. It also sought to enhance students’ ability to
communicate ideas concisely while fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.
The competition was conducted from 2:50 PM to 3:05 PM, with a total of eleven participants actively
taking part and showcasing their talents. The event began with a brief introduction, followed by the submission of
captions by all participants. The judges, Mrs. B. Prathibha Dsouza and Ms. Priya, evaluated each entry based on
creativity, relevance to the theme, clarity, and originality. After the evaluation, the winners were announced:
Nishmitha of 2nd FND secured the 1st place, and Preema Roshni Pinto of 3rd FND secured the 2nd place.
The event concluded with words of appreciation for all participants, encouraging them to continue taking
part in future competitions.
