“Excelso-26,” a one-day national-level inter-collegiate Commerce and Management Fest, was successfully organized on 07th March 2026 at Milagres College, Mangaluru, under the joint auspices of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Commerce and Management.
The program was inaugurated by entrepreneur Mr. Ranganath C. Kini, who, in his address, emphasized the importance of such inter-college festivals in shaping students’ lives and enhancing their personality development. He highlighted that these events provide an excellent platform for students to prepare themselves for the competitive world.
The function was presided over by Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth, Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions. In his presidential address, he stressed that along with academic excellence, participation in such competitions is vital for students to showcase their talents, creativity, and abilities.
Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Principal of Milagres College, extended his best wishes for the success of the program.
The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 150 students representing 26 degree colleges. A variety of competitions were organized for undergraduate students, including Best Manager, Quiz, Marketing, Treasure Hunt, and Reel Making, providing a dynamic platform for students to exhibit their skills and competencies.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ms. Leesha Lobo, Student Coordinator, was present on the dais. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Royston D’Cunha, III BBA Student Coordinator. Mrs. Rohitha Melita Crasta, Lecturer in the Department of Commerce and Program Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks. The event was efficiently compered by Ms. Saliha of II BBA.
Overall, “Excelso-26” was a grand success, fostering competitive spirit, creativity, and holistic development among students.
