The Freshers' Day programme, organised by the Student Council of Milagres College, Mangaluru, was conducted on Thursday, 13 August 2026 at 1:30 PM. The programme, titled “FRESHERS 2026”, was organised to warmly welcome the first-year students and provide them with an enjoyable and memorable introduction to campus life.The programme was conducted in the presence of the Principal, Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao. The Student Council President, Secretary and Vice President were also present and actively supported the programme. Their presence added encouragement and support to the newly joined students.The programme commenced with a prayer song, seeking blessings for the new academic journey of the first-year students. The prayer created a respectful and positive beginning to the celebration.Fun games and interactive activities were organised for the freshers. These activities encouraged participation, helped students interact with one another and created a lively atmosphere throughout the programme. A ramp walk was conducted as one of the major attractions of the Freshers' Day programme. The freshers participated with confidence and enthusiasm, making the event energetic and entertaining.The senior students added to the celebration through three dance performances and a song. The performances entertained the freshers and helped create a friendly and welcoming environment between the senior and junior students.
The Freshers' Day programme concluded on a cheerful and memorable note. The combination of prayer, games, ramp walk and cultural performances made the event engaging for the first-year students.
