A Library Orientation Programme for the students of I Year B.Com., BBA, B.Sc. HS, FND, BCA, and BCA-AI was held on 29 July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the classroom. The programme was conducted by the Librarian, Mrs. Pramila D’Souza.
The orientation programme aimed to familiarize the students with the library’s resources, facilities, services, and rules, and to help them make effective use of the library for their academic needs. Around 250 students attended the programme and actively participated in the session.
The programme aimed to introduce students to the library’s rules, services, resources, and facilities. The Librarian provided detailed information about the various resources available in the library, including books, dailies, magazines, journals, and other learning facilities. Students were encouraged to make effective use of the library for their studies and academic activities.
Mrs. Pramila D’Souza also highlighted the activities planned for the academic year, particularly the Readers ClubandLibrary Association. The orientation programme helped students understand the importance of the library and encouraged them to make regular and purposeful use of its resources to support their academic development.
