Nature of the Programme: Student Development and Skill Enhancement Competition
Objectives of the Programme:
1. To enhance students' observation, memory and recall abilities.
2. To develop concentration, attentiveness and cognitive skills.
3. To promote teamwork, active participation and healthy competition among students.
Description of the Programme:
The Commerce & Management Association of Milagres College, Hampankatta, Mangaluru, organized a Memory Test Competition - 2026 on 26th August 2026 at 3:00 PM in Classroom No. 201. The competition was conducted to provide students with an opportunity to test and
enhance their observation, concentration, memory, and recall skills.
A total of 54 teams comprising 108 students participated enthusiastically in the competition. Each team consisted of two members. The participants were given five minutes to observe various images and objects, followed by twenty minutes to write down the details they could remember. The use of mobile phones, notes, and other smart devices was strictly prohibited, ensuring fair and genuine participation.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Asha Jyothi, Assistant Professor and
Head of the Department of Commerce. Ms. Latha, Association Representative II BBA and Mr. Nizamuddin, Association Secretary, II B. Com, along with faculty members, actively coordinated the programme.
Outcome of the Programme:
The competition successfully enhanced students' observation, concentration, memory and recall abilities. It also promoted teamwork, quick thinking and healthy competition. With the
enthusiastic participation of 108 students, the programme provided an engaging learning experience beyond the classroom and contributed to the overall cognitive and personality development of the students.
Results of the Competition:

2nd place: Ms. Srusti Rai & Ms. Greeshma - II FND
3rd place: Mr. Ahmad Kaif& Mr. Furqaan Abbas-III BBA-LOG
The winners were appreciated for their outstanding performance and excellent
memory and observation skills. The competition concluded on a positive note, with students
displaying great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
