The Hospitality Association, in association with the Department of Hospitality Management and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Mocktail and Cocktail Exhibition on 24th February 2026 as part of the World Bartenders’ Day celebrations at Milagres College, Hampankatta.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Principal and Campus Director, along with Mr. Denzil Dcosta, Head of the Department, Mr. Clyde Adams Dsouza, Association Coordinator, Mr. Roshan Coelho, Lecturer, Mr. Akash, Physical Director, and Mrs. Anju Thomas, HR and Counsellor. Their presence encouraged student participation and emphasized the importance of skill-based learning in hospitality education.
The exhibition was conducted from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing a creative platform for students to showcase their skills in beverage preparation, presentation, and product knowledge. Students exhibited a wide range of mocktails and cocktails using innovative ingredient combinations, attractive garnishes, and professional glassware.
The exhibition emphasized hygiene standards, balance of flavours, aesthetic presentation, and responsible beverage service practices. Faculty members and visitors appreciated the creativity, confidence, and professionalism displayed by the students. The exhibition also helped students gain practical insight into customer appeal, visual merchandising, and beverage presentation.
Overall, the Mocktail and Cocktail Exhibition was a great success and contributed significantly to experiential learning, enhancing students’ practical skills and industry readiness.
