Milagres College, Hampankatta, Mangaluru, organised NEXORA – “Ignite the Next Era”, a National Level Inter-Collegiate PU Fest, on 16 September 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the College Auditorium. The fest aimed to provide Pre-University students with a platform to showcase their talents, creativity, confidence and competitive spirit while promoting interaction and healthy competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 21 Pre-University Colleges with 241 participants.
The inaugural programme was compered by Ms. Shaila Moras. Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Principal/Campus Director, welcomed the gathering, while Rev. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues, Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, presided over the programme. Mr. Reuben Machado, renowned flautist and Golden Book of World Record Holder, was the Chief Guest. The dignitaries highlighted the importance of co-curricular activities in developing creativity, confidence, leadership and teamwork among students.
The various competitions witnessed active participation and showcased the talents and enthusiasm of the students. Breakfast and lunch were provided to all participants, faculty members, student volunteers and staff, ensuring their comfort throughout the event. The programmes and competitions were efficiently coordinated by the faculty, event coordinators, student coordinators and volunteers.
A valedictory programme was held at 2:30 p.m., during which the winners of the various events were announced and prizes were distributed in recognition of their achievements. Ms. Rohitha M. Crasta proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, management, participating institutions, faculty, coordinators, volunteers and students. The fest concluded successfully as a vibrant and engaging student-centric initiative of Milagres College.
