The staff of Milagres Educational Institutions came together to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Miracles on 4 July 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Milagres Degree College Auditorium. The celebration was marked by devotion, fellowship, and a spirit of unity among the staff members from all sections of the institution. The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, who greeted the gathering and introduced the chief guest
The chief guest, Dr. Dennis Fernandes, delivered an inspiring address on the history and significance of Our Lady of Miracles. He also spoke about the remarkable growth and upliftment of Milagres Educational Institutions over the years, encouraging the staff to continue working with dedication, commitment, and a shared vision for excellence. The programme was gracefully compered by Ms. Frencita, who ensured the smooth flow of the event. A special segment of the celebration was the introduction of the newly appointed staff members for the academic year 2026–27, presented by Mrs. Anju Elsa Thomas. The new faculty and staff were warmly welcomed into the Milagres family.
The celebration was further enlivened by a variety of cultural performances presented by staff members from the different sections of the institution. Following the formal programme, all the staff members enjoyed a delicious and sumptuous fellowship meal, providing an opportunity to interact and celebrate the feast together in a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Jyothi Cutino, Vice Principal, Milagres Nursing College.
