Milagres College, Hampankatta, Mangaluru, celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5 September 2026 at the Rooftop Auditorium. The programme was organised by the Student Council to express gratitude and appreciation to the teaching and non-teaching staff and to recognise their valuable contribution to the institution and the students.
The programme commenced with the entry of the teachers at 10:20 a.m., followed by a prayer song . A welcome was extended to the gathering . A skit highlighting the significance of Teachers’ Day was presented . The programme continued with the lecturers being invited to the dais, followed by cake cutting. The Principal’s
message was delivered The celebration continued with games for the staff creating a cheerful and interactive atmosphere. Prize distribution followed by the presentation of gifts took place . The programme concluded with the vote of thanks Rev. Dr. Alwin Serrao, Principal of Milagres College, addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of discipline in student life. He asked the students to learn and practise discipline as an essential quality for their personal, academic and future professional growth. His message highlighted that discipline helps students develop responsibility, good habits and a respectful attitude towards others.The Teachers’ Day celebration provided an opportunity for the students and staff to come together and appreciate
