The Department of Computer Application of Milagres College, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a workshop on Workshop on Full Stack Development on 29 September 2025 in Computer Lab at 09:30 AM. The program aimed at equip students with the fundamental skills and practical knowledge required to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies, fostering a deeper understanding of the complete web development lifecycle. The chief guests of the event were Ms Sneha Rai, Full stack developer, Varmatrix Edutech Company , Ms Prerana Rudragouda Patil, IT Trainer.
The session was conducted by an experienced resource person, who began the workshop with an engaging theoretical session. During this segment, the students were introduced to the core concepts of full stack development, including: The architecture of web applications (client-server model) Roles of front-end and back-end in a web application Overview of essential technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and databases like MongoDB/MySQL Importance of REST APIs, version control (Git/GitHub), and deployment platforms The theory session laid a strong conceptual foundation for the students, helping them understand how various components of a web application interact with one another. Following the theory, the session transitioned into a hands-on practical session, where students were guided step-by-step Throughout the practical session, the resource person provided
live demonstrations and personalized support, ensuring that students were able to follow along and implement the concepts in real-time. By the end of the workshop, students had not only gained theoretical knowledge but also practical experience in building and deploying a basic full stack web application bridging the gap between learning and real-world application.
A total of 75 students actively participated in this workshop. Ms Jynacia extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Ms Jyancia efficiently compered the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Harsha , acknowledging the contributions of all involved.
