With a view to ensure quick dissemination of information and communication, the College has the facility of sending messages through SMS and App Services. The College takes special care in informing the parents and guardians about their children and wards regarding their attendance and academic progress. Daily absentee details are messaged. Internal examinations results are informed along with the important programmes organised in the College.
The College portal has all the necessary details about the College including the student activities, faculty achievements, special events/occasions and upcoming event. The website presents a comprehensive report of the College and it is being updated on a daily basis. This updated information keeps its stakeholders in touch with the College.
Library is the repository of knowledge and a store house of information. The College has a full-fledged spacious library with a stack of more than 13465 books and a reading room with E-Library and INFLIBNET facility. The library attracts the faculty and students to enhance their sphere of knowledge and widen their boundary of wisdom. With internet and Wi-Fi facility, the library serves as an incubation centre for the production of new concepts and innovative teaching-learning technologies. It is well stocked with the latest books, magazines, journals and periodicals.

The well equipped laboratories of the departments of Hospitality Science and Food, Nutrition and Dietetics serve as effective incubation centres of the College. Students of these departments are able to innovate and modify methods of food production and dietary practices. The unique practice in these laboratories is the modification techniques to suit the Indian specially the local contexts.
The College provides boarding and lodging facilities for the students from distant locations and for those who need accommodation in the College hostels. There are separate hostels for boys and girls: the boys’ hostel is within the college premises and the girls’ hostel is at a distance of one kilometre. Each hostel could house around 50 students. Hostel discipline is managed by the faculty who stay in the hostels.
“Mens sana in corpore sano”- sound mind in a sound body. We firmly believe in this adage and provide all facilities to promote the physical wellbeing of the faculty of the students. A qualified full-time physical director plans activities that would develop the sporting talents of our staff and students. There are two playgrounds for use- one within the campus and the other at a distance of half a kilometre. Sufficient indoor and outdoor game facilities are provided. The multi-gym facility attracts a good number of customers both from the college and the public.
The College has an in-house food court wherein vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, refreshments and beverages.The College canteen is outsourced under strict conditions to provide quality food of perfect hygiene and at affordable prices.
The College pays special attention to the mental and spiritual wellbeing of our students. A full-time qualified counsellor is on roll to look after the mental and psychological health of the students. The College has put in place the mentoring system whereby each faculty is allotted 20 to 25 students and these teachers function as mentors to the students. Mentor- mentee meeting takes place twice a week and whenever there is a need to meet individual students it is done.
Parent Teacher Association is a great source of strength to the College in improving the quality of discipline and students’ development. Regular Parent Teacher meetings are held. Members of the Executive Committee are chosen class-wise of the parents. PTA General Body meetings are held twice and meetings of PTA Executive Committee are held four times in a year.

Alumni Association (MICAA) is a registered body under Societies Registration Act with the Registration Number is DRDK/SOR/23/2019-2020.

All the passed out students become members of this association. Representatives from among these members form the Executive Committee. MICAA General Body and Executive Committee meetings are held twice in a year.

It provides an opportunity to its members to keep in touch with his/her Alma mater. Further it also facilitates the reunion of the alumni and enables networking. As a stakeholder of the Institution the alumnus can enroll himself/herself to the association and thereby contribute to be an active member of this Forum.

The College offers various courses in order to enhance the skills of our students. We believe in the overall holistic development of our students so that they are able the face the global challenges and are ready for gainful employment with integrity of character.

The College provides midday meals for the needy students free of cost or at a highly subsided rate.
Scholarships and Fee Concessions are available to students according to the Government Rules and Regulations with a view to promote and encourage higher education, the Management has initiated Scholarships and Fee Concessions to the deserving and meritorious students.
  • Free education is provided to those students who are meritorious, deserving and needy.
  • With a view to encourage education of girls, the College provides 10 to 15% fee concession to the meritorious students.
  • Special Scholarships are also given to meritorious students who excel in the Semester Examinations.
