DENGUE AWARENESS PROGRAMME
“Dengue
Awareness programme” was conducted by the Department of Food Nutrition and
Dietetics on 22ndSeptember 2023 from 10:am to 11:00am, for the
students of Milagres Degree college. Class wise awareness was spread about the growth
and development of dengue mosquito, its symptoms, causes and severity as well
as the prevention and diet during the illness. The video clips were played to
understand the origin and spread as well as the prevention. Dengue prevention
is vital. It keeps people healthy, saves money in healthcare, and improves
lives. It also stops other diseases, brings communities together, and makes the
world safer.
