"Kanakadasa Jayanthi" was celebrated at Milagres Degree College by the Department of Kannada as a special event. Milagres Institution commemorated the significant festival of Kanakadasa Jayanthi, especially notable in Karnataka. The program began with a prayer led by Sruthi and Safnaz of II B.Sc. FND. Mrs. Sowmya Kotian, HOD of the Department of Languages, Ms. Shravya. N, Hindi Lecturer, and Ms. Shaila Moras, Special Event Coordinator, were present on the dais. Ms. Shyma of II B.Sc.FND welcomed the gathering. Ms. Harshiya of II B. Com spoke on the significance of the day. Following this, a musical tribute to Kanakadasa was presented by Mr. Avaneesh of III B.Sc. FND, Ms. Sushmitha of II B. Com, Ms. Deeksha of III B.Sc. FND, and Ms. Fevita Lobo of III B.Sc.FND, showcasing their talent through the soulful performance Kanakadaasara Keerthanegalu. Ms. Nikita Kullu of II B.Sc.FND was the emcee of the program. She concluded the celebration with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone for making the Kanakadasa Jayanthi celebration memorable.
