KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA 2023-24
The Kannada Department and IQAC of Milagres College, Mangalore had organized Kannada Rajyotsava Day programme in the college auditorium on October 26, 2023. Mrs Shailaja, Lecturer of St Agnes P U College, Mangalore was the resource person. She spoke on the topic "Kannada Nadu Nudi Sahithya". Kannada is not just a language, it symbolises Karnataka’s land, water, people, life, literature, culture, art and music. “Kannada language is our culture”, India has a rich culture and it is our identity. Be it religion, art, intellectual achievements or performing arts, it has made us a colourful, rich and diverse nation'.Ms Sowmya Kotian, coordinator of the program and head of the department welcomed the gathering, student Shravani presented the programme and Suchitra proposed the vote of thanks.
