The Intellectual Property Rights Cell of Milagres College in association with JCI Mangalore had organized seminar on “Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights” and "Understanding Copyright Law: Basics and Beyond" on May 08, 2024 at 11.00 am in the college auditorium. C A Anwesh Shetty was the resource person. In his session, the students gained a clear understanding of copyright fundamentals, including what it protects, it's duration, and the concept of fair use. Mr. Anwesh Shetty offered valuable insights on how to register copyrights and enforce legal rights in case of infringement. The seminar empowered students the broader community with the knowledge to protect the creative work and fostered a deeper understanding of intellectual property rights. Ms. Deepa Amin of III Bcom introduced the speaker to the audience. Ms. Tressy Pinto IPR Cell coordinator was present. Total 117 students were present for the seminar.
