Diwas was organised by the department of Hindi and IQAC at Milagres College,
Mangalore on September 17, 2024. Dr.
P V Shobha, HOD Hindi, St Agnes PU College, Mangalore was the chief guest. She
in her address said “Hindi
is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Even in India, a large number
of people speak Hindi as their first language. There are many job opportunities
in the field
of Hindi.
Make good use of it.” Rev.
Dr. Michael Santhumayor, Principal of the
College, who presided over the function,
wished the programme well. Ms.
Shravya N, head of the Hindi
department, and Mrs.Vandana, a lecturer, were
present on the occasion. Krishnaveni Deshpande welcomed the gathering and
Shifana compered the programme. Kevin C proposed the vote of thanks.
Nikel spoke about the significance of Hindi Diwas.
