The Hospitality Association, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a Cooking Without Fire Competition on 17th March 2025 at 2:50 PM in the Training Kitchen. The event aimed to foster creativity and culinary skills among students while promoting innovative cooking practices without the use of fire. The competition featured eight teams, each comprising two members from different classes, who actively participated despite 11 teams enrolling initially. The dishes were evaluated based on taste, creativity, and presentation by the esteemed judges, Ms. Athira P, Counselor, and Mr. Roshan Coelho from the BHS Department. The participants impressed the judges with their remarkable creativity and artistic presentation, making the competition highly competitive. The winners were Martin Sojan and Ashin from II BHS, who secured first place, followed by Shaheema and Azeem from II BCA AIML in second place, and Andly Aston Walder and Jaison Dsouza from III BCOM, who claimed third place. The event concluded with the judges commending the diversity and uniqueness of the dishes and appreciating the teamwork and culinary expertise displayed by the participants. Overall, the competition was a resounding success, highlighting the students’ innovation, teamwork, and creative flair.
