The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), celebrated Ambedkar Jayanthi on 15th April 2025 at the Milagres College Auditorium with great reverence and enthusiasm. The event commemorated the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a tireless advocate for social justice. The program commenced with a floral tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait, followed by a brief introduction that highlighted his life, struggles, and invaluable contributions to Indian society. The chief guest for the event was Ms. Chaithra, Head of the Department of Interior Design and Decoration (ID & D). In her address, she spoke passionately about Dr. Ambedkar’s relentless efforts towards the upliftment of marginalized communities. She also underscored the importance of education, equality, and constitutional values, emphasizing the continued relevance of Ambedkar’s vision in today’s socio-political context. Ms. Chaithra encouraged students to internalize and practice his ideals in their daily lives. The program served as a powerful reminder of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and inspired everyone present to work towards building a more inclusive and equitable society.
